Sam Feldt is an upcoming DJ who recently released this dance song back in May of 2019. While he did produce other songs throughout the years, Post Malone is what put him on the map and got people to notice his music.
Besides the song coming from a new artist or having an amazing title, you need to listen to the upbeat dance tune because the message is to go out and have fun without any regrets before your time runs out.
This is a classic party song that makes you want to jump up and dance until the early hours with your friends and never stop. Whenever I listen to Post Malone, I think of positive vibes and energetic atmospheres. My entire mood shifts because of how colorful this song feels.
For example, the first verse says:
One more drink of one more Bacardi One more dance at this afterparty We still going, going strong Speed so fast like a Ferrari We get wild like a safari We still going, going strong
These lyrics refer to people partying all day and not letting any negative vibes interfere with their mood. What I love about this verse is that the message does not have to be about partying.
It can be about doing whatever makes you happy and fulfilling that happiness without caring what anybody thinks. These lyrics motivate you to pursue what you want to do. If you are someone like me who tends to second guess themselves, then this verse is what you need to listen to on a daily basis to finally chase after your passion.

This is the main chorus of the song and of course, my favorite line is "We party like Post Malone." For all of you who don’t know why there is a reference to the rapper or why the song is named after him, it’s because he is the prime example for going out and doing what you love despite the negative feedback.
I mentioned how he described his journey towards making his music in my previous article here, but to recap – Post Malone had a lot of doubters who were not interested in his music, but that didn’t stop him. Now, he is on tour singing music that he loves and is having a genuinely good time because he pursued what made him happy.
If we want to be successful while pursuing our passion, then we need to follow Post Malone’s footsteps and party like him.
This is a metaphor that everyone should adopt in their everyday lives, especially those who are not happy with their current life choices. We only have one life; therefore, we should take this one chance that we have to finally do what makes us happy because we don’t get another opportunity.
