Since I go to Syracuse University, which has been ranked the #1 party school in the country according to the Princeton Review, it is a requirement to have the best pregame playlist.

Every semester, I always add or remove songs from my playlist to keep it current and trendy, but there is one song that has never left my playlist because it’s just too good to not pregame too.

Song cover for Body ft. Brando

Body by Loud luxury feat. Brando is one of my all-time favorite songs that will probably never leave my playlist. The song was released in 2017 and yet, I still hear it at parties today.

The sounds of the piano and fingers snapping at the beginning of the song is a great combination that makes the song recognizable as soon as you hear these sounds. ecting with someone you are interested in and wanting to step that relationship up with that person physically. It’s basically just a guy singing about how he likes a girl and wants to get to know her personally and physically…. But mostly physically.

Then, the lyrics are sung by Brando in autotune that fits with the tempo smoothly.

Babe, don't make a sound 2 a.m. love gotta keep it down (keep it down) Don't wait around for a signal now Gimme some verbs, I ain't talkin' nouns (I'm naughty) You wanna ride in the Six You wanna dine in the Six (dine in the Six) But when I lean for the kiss You said I'll probably send you some pics And I'm like

What I love about these lyrics and the way the music plays is that you can sing this with your friends or with that special someone. The song is catchy and the lyrics are easy to remember. Also, this song is great for dancing, so it’s never really awkward to sing this with your friends or whoever because the song just makes you want to get up and dance.

I remember dancing to this song with my friends at a tailgate a numerous amount of times and because we knew all the lyrics to this song, it made it that much more fun to jam out to.

Of course, the next lyrics are what everyone knows and love:

Body on my, losin' all my innocence, yeah

Body on my, grindin' on my innocence, yeah

Body on my, losin' all my innocence, yeah

Body on my, grindin' on my innocence, yeah

Body on my, losin' all my innocence, yeah

Body on my, grindin' on my innocence, yeah

Body on my, losin' all my innocence, yeah

Body on my, grindin' on my innocence, yeah

In this part, the music makes you want to dance and jump up and down and not sit still!

What’s also interesting about these lyrics is that there is this viral trend going around that every time these lyrics are sung, a shuffle dance is performed.

As you can see, there is actual proof that this song makes you want to jump up and dance!

Now that you’ve seen evidence of the impact this song can have, I hope you will add it to your playlist. Trust me, you will start seeing people dance to this song hard and then you will be known as the person with the awesome pregame playlist!
